Hello everyone,
i just cleaned the fans of my 6 months old predator, when i tryed to reboot it, it didnt work, when i plugged the ac adapter it did turn on. But whenever i unplugg it, it goes off. Windows sees the battery but says : "71% not charging".
I tryed :
- reset the battery with the little button at the back. Didnt work.
- unplugging the battery and press the power button for 30s/1mn, didnt work.
- unistall the battery driver and reinstall them. didnt work.
I'm actually reseting windows 10, but doesnt seems like it's making any difference.
What can i do ? I still got the warranty so i'll do that as last resort. The battery seems to work fine that's why i don't understand. I heard on a forum that there is a little plastic thing that holds off a button switch and if it breaks it's doing weird stuff to the battery.
Thanks for the help !
EDIT : okay i must be the stupidiest person ever, if you're like me and try to see if everything works before reasembling, not working with the acer predator, there is a little plastic thing that presses a button that let's the battery being normal. If you don't well it won't let the battery works. So before opening the computer, just put back everything together.
