So, I've had this laptop for a while now, I bought it a while back in order to both do College Work and play games, which is perfectly viable considering the laptops specs. However, when I play games, some games are fine but on some games for example Devil May Cry and World of Warcraft and even Walking Dead. I get brief screen freezes in game which is incredibly irritating and most of the time affects my gaming experience.
I know for a fact that it's not that the laptop can't handle the game, I have friends with lesser systems that can run the games perfectly fine. I usually try and play the games on the highest graphics possble as long as I get a decent frame rate but I've tried lowering graphics settings and I still get the freezes. I've tried lowering resolution also and that didn't solve the problem. I've also tried running the games on both my Intel HD 4000 and my Nvidia GT650M and I get the freezes using both, so I know it's probably not a problem the Graphic Adaptors, unless they both have the same problem.
I've contacted Acer Support and I've been told that I may need to send my laptop away to be repaired, due to the fact I use my laptop for my college work, I can't do this with ease. I was hoping the forums would have a few suggestions as to what could be the problem, maybe if you've had the problem before or just know a lot about this subject. Thanks forums!
