Acer Laptop Aspire E 15 E5-574G-54Y2 charging issues

My laptop was working fine till Wed. Wednesday night is was not charging properly I thought it might just be sometime trivial.

 

Thursday morning I cannot charge it at all so I thought it was a charger problem. So I bought a temporary new charger from targer which did not work either. So I opened my laptop to see if anything is physically damaged since I only recetly installed new RAM. 

 

Weirdly it started charging out of nowhere. Thursday night I put my laptop back together and it started charging just fine. So I don't think the problem is with the charger or the battery.

 

So basically now the laptop charges only sometimes and even when it does I have to keep adjusting and moving the power cord when it is plugged into my laptop. 

 

Please suggest what to do. I have exams coming very soon (

Hi,

It could be the problem in DC-in jack, it may not making proper contact or damaged, I would suggest you to get in touch with Acer Support centre and get it serviced.
