I am using an Acer Desktop XC-710. My Philips monitor is currently connect via an old fashioned VGA cable. When I tried to connect my desktop to the monitor using a HDMI cable, there was no display. I am using the "HDMI 1" port behind the desktop and connected it to the HDMI port of the monitor.

    Hello,

    Did you select the right monitor input by using the OSD menu?

    Yes I scrolled thru the menu

    Inout -> HDMI

    When I select HDMI, the screen turns blank and after a few seconds, shows "No HDMI input" even though the other end of the HDMI cable is plugged into my desktop HDMI port (HDMI 1)
