Aspire V5-122P Erecovery stuck

Trying to restore to factory settings.

Purchased the Recovery Media USB from Acer Store.

Windows 8.

Runs as expected until the install attempts to load drivers.

The installation hangs on the driver install. 

The pop up about not being able to verify the publisher appears.

However, the install does not allow me to move the cursor.

Therefore I can't select the "install anyway" option.  I can't select anything.

I called Acer and their solution was to send me another USB.

Tried it, same problem.

Called again and Acer suggested I try to find a solution on Google or YouTube!

I searched for hours, no help.

Suggestions???

try to move the selection using tab key and then press enter or try an external USB mouse.
