drivers won't update, can't use any device or bluetooth

Hello all,

I am very frustrated - my PC suddently won't connect to any of my devices (or use bluetooth.)

My Android device (samsung galaxy s6) does not show in windows explorer for me to transfer files.  When I view my device manager, I can see that there is an issue by the triangle and exclamation point.  I try to update the driver and it says that windows encountered an error while attempting to install it "The configuration registry database is corrupt."  It suggests going to the manufacturer's website to download.  So I did, but when I try to install that I get the error message "MSS InstallWizard could not install Samsung USB Driver for Mobile Phones V1.5.45.0 "  I even used online chat with Samsung to resolve this issue and downloaded the Samsung Smartswitch, which also does not work.  Samsung verified what I was doing was correct.  That combined with the fact that I also cannot get the correct driver update for my Seagate Goflex and my Bluetooth no longer works has led me to believe this issue lies with either Windows or Acer.  Also, when I tried to install the most recent updates that I am supposed to get automatically, several of them failed.  Do I need to adjust some settings to allow these?

Both of these devices used to work just fine, up until about a month ago.  If anyone knows how I can fix this I would be so grateful!  I want my phone more for music and taking pictures than anything, and I can't get any of my music off my computer or transfer pictures off my phone, except by email.

Thank  you!
