Iconic one 10 (b3_a30) microSD problem

Hi. Just bought the Iconic one 10. I have installed a 32GB microSD and the tablet has recognised it as a Samsung which it is. I have then gone to settings > memory and indeed there it is but none of the apps recognise it's there. I have installed various file managers and they don't see it either. 

Strangely if I go to settings > apps and set the memory location SD card they are moved to it but some become invisible on the home screen, some others stop working and the rest work fine.

Have I done something wrong or mist something ?

P.S. the SD card is out of my phone and worked fine and for some reason ( as I've never had to this before ) the tablet insisted in formatting the card upon insertion.

Any ideas ?

if it's asking to format, probably it can't recognise the file system, try to format it and then check if it's accesible from tablet's file manager.
