On my Aspire L310 desktop the fans automatically turned on when the unit was off and keep running.  The "power on" lED light will not go on when pushed.  The only way to turn off the fans is by unplugging the unit.   Solutions?

I would recommend you contact Acer support for your region to inquire about setting your unit up for service.

Thanks for the reply.  Opened the unit and observed blown caps around the hard drive and fans.  However, at your recommendation tried to contact Acer Support for my region (Michigan Detroit /Metro) clicking below and received error message on your site sent to your Development team for investigation -- given Exception ID 1693E35D.  Is this worthwhile pursuing through Acer Support or just give up an use it as a door stop?  Any advice?

Out of warranty service is generally $199 USD. If you would like to have the system serviced, please send me a private message with your name and telephone number, and I will have someone contact you.
