Win 10 driver for XB321HK

Just reloaded Windows 10 and checked the device manager and found that Windows loaded the "Generic Monitor".  This seems quite silly to be honest.  My x34 Predator had a specific driver for it, why doesn't the Acer XB321HK?  I mean a specific driver MIGHT actually help the artifacting or brightness?

I see there is a Windows 8 driver...and windows 7... What gives?

Monitor "drivers" are not really like other device drivers, in sense they don't contain any "executable code".

All they have inside are just some registry tweaks - e.g. to make monitor appear under proper name in Device Manager, or real picture for "Devices" (which obviously purely cosmetic).

Sometimes there are other registry tweaks, like for refresh rates (which this monitor won't require since its bog-standard 60Hz only) or colour profile (which also not really needed since its out of the box sRGB). Some may have required for older OS, but W10 is already working fine by itself, hence no tweaks (and "driver") required.

While this is true for the XB321HK, it does not apply to all monitors anymore. Many monitors now have Software including drivers to control the picture settings via Software at the OS level.

The XB321HK however is not one of those and thus does not benefit from drivers in any way.
