How to reinstall windows 7 on a blank Aspire one d255e

My Aspire one d255e crashed awhile back. Then I got my hands on a linux OS that worked so i thought is this posible with windows. It has no dvd drive so i did a bit of research found out about using a usb flash drive installer to renstall windows 7 and ended on the windows website about to enter my producy key to get a new windows 7 ios as soon as that was done a window pops up and tells me that because my os was installed by the manufacturer i have to contact them for recovery options. So i'm here asking what's my next step, how do i get back window 7 back on a device with these characteritics?
