hard disk for 5736z

My question is my old hard disk have a ( dont no how to name it ) it is attache to the disk whit screw, that disk is no good and i got a nother one, my question is what is that part and is it necessary to put it on my new disk, ( what will hapend if i instal my new disk whitout that part )

Hi,

It's called hard drive carrier, when you pull out the hard drive after removing the screws, you may have to remove 4 screws, replace the new HDD and put those 4 screws back to secure the HDD, slide it in to the slot and secure it with 2 screws. the caarrier holds the HDD in place securely while you move the laptop around.
