Z35P bmiphz. Was just informed by a Acer rep that this was discontinued. Is that true?

So, I thought the Z35P (UM.CZ1AA.P01) was a new model. Can't buy it from Acer, and no US retailers stock it.

I chatted with a Acer rep about the monitor and asking where and if it's purchasable, or is it being discontinued which is no "Buy Now" link on the product page... and he informs me that it's discontinued. Is that true, and if not when is this monitor releasing to the US? What's the story? I see nothing on the Acer blog, no tweets, no news... nothing. I would buy one right now if I could find one. I have found a couple Canadian online retailers stocking it a couple days ago, but they are now sold out and don't ship to the US. 

 

Can anyone clarify?

After having a bad day with my current monitor, I want to give acer another chance with the Z35P, but there's none in the USA, and I would like to know when can I purchase it on amazon or newegg...

 

Someone can please tell us when are going to be avaliable? I already sold my current monitor, and I can't keep delaying the delivery.
