HELP WHAT TOUCHPAD DO I HAVE? URGENT

Hi guys,

I do not know what Manufacturer/Vendor (Synaptics or ELANTECH) Touchpad do I have for my laptop. My laptop is a Aspire V3-572G (On the back it says Aspire V3-572G-78ZS) currently running Windows 10 64 bit. I need to know this as I need to install the right touchpad driver.

Also note that I have already tried going into the device manager to see what touchpad do I have but this method did not help nor reveal what type/manufacturer my touchpad is.

Looking forward to your guys response(s). Please help me identify what touchpad do I have so i can then proceed to install the necessary touchpad driver. Let me know if you need more information.

Hi,

Go to Device manager, expand Mice and other Pointing devices, expand Human Interface Devices, if you see them like my snip, you have a Precision touchpad with Synaptics driver, if not, may be Elantech driver.

I have gone through and did what you have asked for and the results are below (Image screenshot). So I can safely say that my touchpad is "Precision touchpad with Synaptics driver"? If so, I can proceed with downloading the Synaptics driver for my laptop?
