eRecovery not working

Hi Everyone,

My eRecovery has three options (on a grey back ground) there is only one highlighted that I am able to click on and that one is exit. I am very frustrated because I am trying to format the computer because it had a black screen and nothing else worked so I was going to format. Any ideas or thoughts would be appreciated.

    It sounds like your hard drive has failed. I recommend having the hard drive tested, and replaced if needed, then trying the recovery disks. You can contact Acer support for your region to inquire about setting your unit up for service.
