Odd Fan Noise With Predator 17

Hi,

I have a refurbished Acer Predator 17 G5-793-72AU from Newegg that I just purchased two weeks ago and it's been making a strange fan noise in the upper right section of the keyboard (near the numpad). This sound only comes every few days and lingers for a few hours before disappearing, seemingly for no reason at all (not linked to gaming, or other fans speeding up). The angle I hold the laptop, or placing it on a flat surface or wherever, also doesn't seem to be effecting the way it sounds, so I don't think it's just something pressing down and making contact with the fan itself.

The reason I'm concerned is mostly because it's a refurbished laptop, if a fan is sputtering out and dying on me I don't want to be left without warranty after 30 days. I am posting a youtube link here, and you can really hear the sound toward the end when I put it close to the rear exhaust. Is this thing about to die? Should I sent it in for a repair? Any help would be appreciated.

its either one of 2 things:

    1. Enough dust is gotten in to the system and is scrapping on the blades

    2. The bearings are dry in the fan and are going

From what I can hear on your video my money is on the 2nd reason

Thanks for the reply. That's what I feared but I wanted to get another pair of ears on it to make sure I wasn't just thinking too much about an otherwise normal sound. Guess I'd better start figuring out what I need to do for a repair or what.
