So i just installed all my apps and games to the laptop, and when running a game this "gaming" oriented laptop slow considerably down when on battery. When its plugged in the GTX1060 runs games perfectly, but not for some reason wen its plugged.
I read somewhere that some gaming laptops require a machine to be plugged in to run games well, but not sure if its the case here or if i am missing something else.
The laptop uses nvidia optimus, but when i go to geforce1060 properties i see that it is still running on gtx1060 and not the intel integrated one on battery, so i don't understand why the laptop slows down.
I feel its a general slowing down of computer, since i think other tasks on the computer slow a little bit too, not just the gaming. Anyone know what is going on, and what can be the cause of this. At this stage im wondering if there is an actual problem with the laptop or if this is "normal" behaviour.
Also if anyone has a fix, i would greatly appreciate.
