Hello,
I broke down my laptop, to then realize that the remaining two
RAM slots reside on the "opposite side" of the motherboard.
YIKES.
I'm fairly handy but I'm not a technician or guru on breaking down
these intricate, fine machines. I have 4 x 16GB Crucial sticks for
it but I'm only able to use the 2 free slots that's readily available
making my laptop max out to 48GB.
Is there some type of tutorial or online video that I can use to
get to the other side of the laptop to swap out the factory 16GB
(2 x 8GB) sticks? Or, should I simply bite the bullet & send/give
it to an authorized technician to do the work for me?
If it's a tech I need, can someone refer to me an authorized one
that KNOWS what they're doing...? It would make sense that if
a company is going to offer a laptop that's upgradable to 64GB,
it should've started with 32GB, so adding 2 more sticks is easy.
All help is greatly appreciated! Looking forward.
Thanks,
Ben
