Acer Aspire z3-710 Keyboard issue

My wireless keyboard that came with the system Acer Aspire z3-710 ( all in one ) suddenly stopped working today. They mouse works fine and all effort to uninstall the drivers and reinstall failed to fix my problem. I unplugged the receiver from the once USB port and tried the others on the PC and the same issue with the keyboard not working. I plugged the receiver into my laptop and the keyboard and mouse work normally.. 

What is my issue here with my Acer Aspire z3-710 if the keyboard and mouse combo work on other machines? I tried the filterkeys suggestion, but thats not the problem. Any suggestions? I would rather not have to use a wired keyboard.
