I have Iconia W510 running Windows 8.1 version 6.3 (Build 9600). I'm, using Rufus 2.12p attempting to create a bootable USB. I have no idea of digital signatures, cvertificate libraries or any other conditions for creating a bootable USB. I have just created by the same software a bootable USB on an HP Pavilion dv6 and it works. Here's what I've tried:

1. Formatted the usb NTFS with MBR partition scheme for BIOS and UEFI - does not boot

2. Formatted the usb FAT32 with GPT partition for UEFI - does not boot.

3. Tried all 3 options for boot order in BIOS: USB HDD, USB CDROM and Windows Boot Manager - does not boot.

4. Pressed F12 at boot time - the only option there is Windows Boot manager. The other 2 options are missing - does not boot from USB.

Secure boot check was [Enabled] at all times.

F12 boot menu was enabled at all times.

FTPM support was enabled (what is it?)

System BIOS ver is V2.0

GOP ver. is 6.0.1032

The Security options in green in BIOS 'Secure boot mode', 'Erase all secure boot setting', 'Restore secure boot to factory dafault' cannot be selected. (Why?)
