I have two situations that are extremely annoying.

01. Two of my three Acer Laptops don't have the following problem. The third stacks pages on top of each other as I go from one to the next. The other two just show the last page. How do I correct this?

02. The cursor skips around as I type such that I never know where it will end up. How can I stop it from doing this?

Could you please provide the details of your Operating system and the browser used.

Hi,

Go to Internet settings( the wheel next to Star at the top right of the page), select Internet Options, click Tabs and you can change the settings on the next window.

No, the problem still is there. Maybe I didn't explain the problem clearly.

When I open a second or subsequent page (or tab or screen, whatever it's called,) the previous one remains stacked offset behind it. Eventually the stack shows every page as I go deeper into what I want to see. Changing the tab in my Internet option does nothing to fix this situation. I simply want to have only the current page on my laptop.

Yes, it's difficult trying to explain online, try this, open IE, click the folder icon(first snip) to open another tab and enter the site address in address bar, so now you have the start page and a web site, now click the IE icon in the taskbar and you must have two tabs options, you can choose whichever site you want. My examples are from IE11 but you may have similar facility.
