Aspire E1-731 USB 3.0 not working

My office Acer Model Aspire E1-731 laptop with Windows 7 worked perfectly until yesterday.  Now only the USB port on the right side of the keyboard works; the two on the left do not recognize any of my inserted flash drives. 

 

When I checked the Device Manage, the USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller has a yellow triangle.  It then shows the message  "This device cannot start.  (Code 10)" after I click on it. 

 

My bedroom Acer Laptop is still working, but I would like to have a fix to this one, if possible before I buy my third one to replace an aging Dell laptop.  Thank you in advance.

Obviously the driver is messed up. I do not know what update ran to mess it up but did you try to roll back to a prior restore point to see if operation returned? Next would be redownload the Acer chipset and USB driver package for your system here and reinstall those.
