aspire one - unable to install Base System Device (Other Devices) reinstalled chipset driver several

I bought a used Aspire One -- everytime I reboot I am prompted for installation of Base System Device -- I pick reccomended options for searching the driver but it does not get installed. I do nt have much space on Hard Drive to download all drivers - can some one tell me which specifi driver do I need.

I have downloaded and installed chipset driver more than twice no help.

It would probably be beneficial to reload the system to factory defaults.

All of the appropriate drivers are included.

I made a resource and looks like a lots of people is getting the same problem with Base System Devices drivers and Acer-Tomy doesnt help. You suggest that reload system to default but what happend if the original hard drive fails and we need to replace it. One suggestion you need to answer the question more specific not make a generic answer because looks like your jobs is too easy.  With this poor support Iam very disappoint with the Acer Trademark.

Frankly I don't know what a "base system device" is & suspect that may be a generic name for things under "System devices" in Device Manager.. I did find this: http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/46425-63-base-system-device-driver

 

On a boot with a bad hard drive I have seen "No Boot System Device found". Guess we need more specific information, any error codes ? Maybe we can both learn something.

mine is aspire 4736G, my Base system device is error, when i tryn to update driver, it say windows can find the driverr. the manufactur is unknown, can u help me please? how i can make the yellow sign goes off?
