Need help reinstalling operating system

The hard drive on our Acer netbook went bad for the second time after our warranty expired.  I've paid to replace the hard drive, but now I have to reinstall the operating system.  According to our computer expert, I should have gotten some type of reinstallation software when I purchased the netbook, but I don't believe I did.  I did read on the Acer website that their netbooks have eRecovery management, but I think that only works with the factory installed hard drive.  How do I get the operating system reinstalled when I have had to replace the hard drive?  Do I really have to purchase it again?  We have not even owned this netbook for two years and this is the second time we've replaced the hard drive!

    Good day

You should have create the factory backup disc yourself for in satuations like this. As software is supplied as is from date of purchase and as its also not covered under warranty, there will be possible charges for Acer to give you a set of recovery discs.

Contact your local Acer Support Team for further advise.
