Hello,
Aspire Z3-705 with latest BIOS R01-A2. Trying to install Fedora (or Ubuntu) on a separate partiton, alongside Windows 10.
Internal hard drive in UEFI GPT partition scheme.
Boot works fine, installation works fine, but when I reboot, the bootloader is not updated, I cannot choose to boot the other OS.
Disabling secure boot does not help. I can see the boot files on the EFI partition (I have a "fedora" and an "ubuntu" folder) with "mountvol b: /s" but the BIOS does not want to use them.
Funny thing is, it works fine if I install Fedora on an external hard drive. But I have to disable the internal hard drive, by disabling AHCI in the BIOS first.
Anyone else expenriencing this ? Anyone with a workaround ? I'm afraid this is a bios bug.
