    Hello,

    1. This means that it have only one BIOS and don't have more updates?
It is the latest Bios. You can also check it via your Acer account in adding your desktop.

    2. Is correct BIOS of the link?
      Yes, it is.

    3. Is the maximum RAM 2x2GB DDR3 on dual-channel, right?

I return here to publish one thing that I discovered some weeks ago. This motherboard supports Core 2 Quad, Q6X00, I use the Q6700, it boots and works perfectly!

Hi, im a bit late here i know, but found that topic after thinking to upgrade a bit the machine as it's getting old. I just also learnt that it can not by path the memory usage ramp since the processor is part of a retired familly of processor. I also found something which hurted lol. On intel's site there is 3 biltins concerning the computer's vulnerabilities (concerned Aspire X1900), including 1 Critical Firmware (Intel-SA-00086) - 9/10 - It s not displayed on the ACER ressource about it, because on the displayed list by ACER there is only those kinda solved, with 2 firmware"s updates later on. If you check the complete list, Pentium 5800 is included. Discovered on my own device some upgrades on my firmware, while i never modified it, nor the fabricant apparently American trends never made any update. My question is the following :
Was that breach exploit possible to get critivals informations through the network (snaker maybe stayd invisible) ?
2 bads news at a time... I finally cant upgrade anything, and its maybe hacked lol. PLUS : the operating system is set to 64 bits, i downsided it to 32 bits. Point of using a 64x while you cant use more than the 32 x effecients, due to maximum RAM system of 4 Go (same as 32 x limits) the operating consuming 1 Go itself for absolutely nothing... (Windows 10 usage 64 x = 2 Go DD3 / 32 x = 1 Go DD3)
