I'm ordering an:
Acer Aspire ATC-780-UR12 Desktop Computer; Intel Core i7-6700 Processor 3.4GHz; Microsoft Windows 10 Home; 16GB DDR4-2133 RAM; 512GB Solid State Drive
I saw the post about adding an M2 sata3 ssd to an available M2 slot. My question is if one can use the available PCIe x 16 slot, with an adapter, or a complete PCIe SSD add in card, also? Is one way more advantagous than the others?
I'm OK with the on board Intel 530 graphics. If I ever feel a need for more, I'm thinking the available PCIe x 1 will handle my modest needs in that department. Mostly I'm after the response speed in opening stuff when I click on it.
In time I want this to be a dual boot machine with windows on one drive and some flavor of Linux on the other.
What do you folks think are all my available options for adding this second ssd drive?.... and what would you recommend?
Thanks, FOM
