sorry but...how did you manage to flash version 1.03 over 1.04?

it's a downgrade and normally is not available using the BIOS flasher.

    the latest version is 1.10

Hi , I had the same problem like you, I did a downgrade from version 1.10 to 1.03, and like you after reboot a had a black screen on my acer aspire 7250. The laptop was booting but the screen remained black, so I couldnt saw what was on it. I was very upset not because my laptop was bricked, and because I bricked it. I told to a friend what I did and asked him for a programmer to reflash the BIOS. He give me an idea, to reflash the BIOS with an usb stick and to type on blind on the black screen the command for flashing the BIOS. And I did it in this way:
I made with Rufus (https://rufus.ie/en/) a bootable usb drive and I selected FreeDOS, I put in the stick's root the 3 files( flashit.exe, SHABV110.FD, Update.bat) for flashing the BIOS under DOS, wich I downloaded from (https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/support-product/3741?b=1), I renamed (Update.bat) in (a.bat) for simplicity. I removed the SSD(or HDD) from laptop, I put the stick in the usb port and I pressed the power button. After ~30 -40 seconds (to be sure that the laptop was booting from the usb stick) I typed on blind (a) ( from a.bat wich was Update.bat ) and I pressed Enter. I heard the fan spining faster, and after a minute or so the laptot shut itself down. I pressed the power button and my screen was live again with BIOS version 1.10. I hope this was usefull to you. God bless you all.
