Proper way to insert micro sd card in A3-A30 tablet

I have just recently purchased a Iconia Tab 10 A3-A30 tablet. It has a external micro sd card slot, but I have searched and searched (nothing came with it to tell me which) for which way to insert the card, with the chip facing the back of the tablet, or facing the front. Can anyone help me with this issue? Thanks

I don't have that model, but there is really only two ways to try and one won't work.

 

Try it with the contacts up and see if it slides in all the way and clicks, if it only goes in part way, turn it over and try again. It should go in fully with a click as it seats, then come back out if you use your fingernail to push it in a bit against the spring. The only way to go wrong would be if the slot was significantly misaligned so you could slide it into the tablet without actually putting it in the slot. Not something most people have to worry about.
