ACER Z301C G-Sync Image rasterizing

I bought the ACER Predator Z301C 21:9 VA-Curved G-Sync monitor as an upgrade

from my ACER XB271 TN G-Sync monitor.

Whe the games drop to fps below 60s and G-Sync forces the monitor to lower the

refresh rate below 50Hz, the image quality reduces daramticaly. The image becomes rasterized.

Older games like Command and Conquer or Doom3 often had used some framelocking techs

which causes the games to lock at 60 fps max framerate or even 30 fps framerate. Unlocking

those rates forcing the game to run at double-speed or even 10x fast forward.

In those cases or when AAA games drop down the fps at about 50 fps like Witcher 3 or

MMOs like LOTRO (25 FPS lowest results caused by bad optimizations)

My rig isn't that bad -

I7 4790K @4.6 GHz

32 Gbyte DDR3 1866 MHz

ASUS Z97 Hero VII
GeForce GTX 1080 Founders running @ 60 °C Watercooled @ Arctic Hybrid III 140

Can somebody reproduce those issues where G-Sync lowered 60Hz images got rasterized.

(even worse when Overdrive overshoots at those freqs causing flashing images and rasterisation)

i got this monitor for my daughter and i can confirm this. below 70fps image quality start pixeling. those pixels gets bigger floating in the screen. So u need to have 1070gtx minumum. I also see that Aim Point is shifted to left about 1mm. I already requested Service repair. Cos i think its pointless to return this product to get different one. Probably gonna have same broken software version.20170202_104600.jpg
