I own a acer aspire v7 481p. Recently, It's touchscreen (Digitizer) broke, and I was getting ghost touches all over the screen. For a temporary fix, Ive disabled the HID Touch in device manager, however my question is.
Is it possible to :-
1) Remove the digitizer from the LCD and use the laptop as it is ?
2) Replace LCD only, from website like laptopscreen.com (http://www.laptopscreen.com/English/model/Acer/ASPIRE%20V7-481P%20SERIES/)
3) Upgrade the LCD and replace it, with a screen from Acer Aspire V7 482p (Full HD Matte IPS), from laptopscreen.com
(http://www.laptopscreen.com/English/model/Acer/ASPIRE%20V7-482P%20SERIES/)
They both use the exact same connector, and exact same frame..
Guy here says, he upgraded a screen without any problems, but Id rather ask the question here in acer community

Right now, the digitizer forms the black bezel in the front of the laptop. But I found this
http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Acer-Aspire-V5-472-V5-473-V7-481-Grey-Laptop-Front-Lcd-Bezel-/201642867535?hash=item2ef2d9fb4f:g:Lo4AAOSw65FXqsf2
It seems to be the front bezel of V5-472, which according to the seller is compatible with V7-481P, as they share identical structure.
Now, Is it possible to somehow remove the digitizer, and use that product to make my laptop look like a V5-472 ?
