I too found myself locked out of my BIOS out of the blue.

Nothing Online worked except the following:

NOTE

This Fix worked for my machine. I make no warranties or guarantees this will work for you.

Steps:

Upgrade / Flash to ver 2.18
Goto MAIN Tab at Top
Find F12 Button (may read different)
Enable

I Flashed my BIOS 3 times, each had F12's Disabled. Re-Flashed and 4 Successful Attempts using F2 for Bios.
