Skype won't answer or send calls

Have new Iconia b3-a30 which has preloaded Skype. When a call comes through it won't allow me to answer and when trying to call a contact it won't activate. Anyone else experiencing this?

have you updated Skype via Google Play?

 

if so, can be an application bug but first try to clear Skype data and cache

 

settings/Apps - Scroll to Skype app 

tap it

select storage - clear data and clear cache or simply tap on clear data and clear cache if they are available on the main app screen
