Hi everybody, I'm hoping someone can shed some light into the issue I've been having with my desktop. Everytime I run a game like Cities: Skylines, Planet Coaster, Everquest, or even programs like Google Earth, the entire machine will turn off on its own and reboot.
I spoke with the predator team back in November when the problem started to happen more frequently. After doing the recommended updates to the machine, it was determined that the tower needed to be sent to Texas for service.
Happily obliging I sent the equipment in, paid $100+ shipping bill, and waited....
I just received it back the week before Christmas - only to find that the Diagnosis/Repair comments said "NO TROUBLE FOUND". I've been trying to play games on my computer ever since only to find that I'm having the same problems. Planet Coaster wont even load past the credits without it turning off.
It seems based on reading this forum that I've exhausted my resources. For a product that is less than a year old I'm beyond disappointed at this point.
Has anybody else had these kinds of issues, and were you able to successfully resolve the problem? Should I look into third party computer repair services at this point? The manufacturer certainly thinks everything looks good - but I've never had a computer (a pricey one at that) that shuts off when it feels like it.
Please help!
