Hi all,
Can I add Samsung SSD 960 EVO 250GB M.2 MZ-V6E250BW to Aspire VN7-571G 59pm?
Does it support NVMe and can I expect performance close to :
Sequential Read Speed
Up to 3,200 MB/sec**
Sequential Write Speed
Up to 1,500 MB/sec**
Thanks in advance!
Hi,
No, it doesn't support NVMe, you can install M.2 SATA SSD(6Gb/s).

Hi,
My reply was more than 6 months ago and the situation has changed, you have to install the program HWiNFO64, check the PCI Express ports, if you find a port with maximum link width of 2x or 4x, you can install NVMe drive. Please read this thread for more information:http://community.acer.com/t5/E-F-and-M-Series-Laptops/Acer-Aspire-E5-575-52JF-m-2-nvme-support/td-p/497241
Thanks for an awesome reply - and a swift one!
Since I still can't get the drive to work after confirming support I opened up my own thread here: http://community.acer.com/t5/V-and-VN-Series-Laptops/Samsung-960-EVO-NVMe-in-Aspire-V5-951G-726Z/m-p/501905#M16198
