Nvidia drivers

I am new to laptops so some of my questions may seem odd. I have a E5-575G-53VG which has both Intel and Nvidia graphics onboard. Should I have both graphics running at the same time? If I decide to disable the Intel graphics via the device manager is this ok, I am used to doing this on my PC via the BIOS. If I go with the Nvidia should I use the latet drivers  from the Nvidia website? Thanks in advance for any help !!!!

Both video cards should run at the same time. There should be no need to disable one or the other in Device Manager. Any drivers for your system should be downloaded from the Acer support site as these are the tested/qualified drivers for our products. Hope this clarifies!
