No pointer after replacing trackpad on Acer C720P

My track pad stop working on the right click so replaced it. After firing up the chrome book I have no pointer? Do I have to install a driver? Track pad came from a C720, mine's a C720P....might that be the problem. They look identical in every detail?? Thanks for any help!

Not sure if the P model makes a difference but it shouldn't. You will need to reinstall the driver but if that doesn't resolve the issue, we recommend the system be serviced by Acer. Please contact Acer support for assistance at:

Thanks Mary. The replacement turned out to be faulty so the second one worked fine. Just had to swap them over and no reset or drivers needed. The track pads for the P or earlier models are the same. Thanks
