Tried to turn back on. Computer did not recognize charger or boot. If I send in for repairs, I have to get info off hard drive and not loose it. Any help.

Did you try the reset pinhole in the back ?

Thank you but that does not solve the problem. Still laptop does not charge and does not show the charger is plugged in.

Did you leave it plugged in for a few minutes ? May need to build a new charge before it will turn on.

Do you mean the yellow/blue charge light near the power socket does not come on ? If not, check the adapter outlet for at least 19vdc.

Thank you but I have done all this. I have even moved the adapted to a new outlet. No light, nothing.

    Sounds like a warrenty issue.

One stupid thing: tighten all of the screws on the back cover and try again. There is a microswitch under one of them.

Yeah, I did that, the screw is  one of the two screws in the center, can't remember which one. Both tightened. Thanks.
