ACER PRED G9-791-56D2 won't start

Hi

I purchased this laptop to use as my work/home laptop. After a week of regular use the laptop completely shut down and wouldn't start. All that I see is the touchpad on/off button light is orange but no other sign of life. I tried holding power button down but no luck. I have a choice now of getting another one or switching to a completely different laptop, I just wanted to know if these laptops are known to have poor reliabilty because its a lot of money and I'm not sure if I should stick with it. Also has anyone else experienced this issue as I really liked the laptop and I'm just hoping it was a once off.

So no response from Acer regarding this issue?

So i tried to do this, alt + f10 while reboot and then i just click 'continue to windows'. It's worked.

My laptop won't even start I can't switch it on.

have you tried to punt a pin inside the battery reset hole for about 5-10 seconds?

the battery reset hole is in the bottom of your laptop, left side

Ok so now they gave me a brand new unit but now I can't adjust screen brightness or change resolution.

I have tried uninstalling Nvidia drivers but hasn't worked.
