I have an Acer Iconia Tab 8W and can't find my favorite coupon & game apps in the store

in 2016 Archives

I finally got my microsoft account set up and get the Store but it doesn't have any of my favorite coupon apps or game apps in it. How can I get them on my device? Do I need to download a different type of store app?

    The tablet was a problem from day one. Not working, had to be repaired, hard to set up once I got it back, and now not using any of the apps I want. I didn't know that there was more systems than Apple and Android. Seems there is also Windows. Hate it. So I'm sending it back. Thank you for your input. It really helped.

    What apps are your favorites? Are they Android or iOS apps? If so they won't run on a Windows computer.

    They are android I guess. I thought the apps would work with any non-apple device. So then how do I get the apps I want on the device I have?

    Well if all the apps you want are Android, you likely want an Android device. There are software development packages that let you test Android apps in Windows, but the performance will not be up to your expectations. You might want to look at similar programs for Windows, or look into Windows games that don't have equivalents in Android.
