Delebilating "Timeout" icon on A1-830 tablet

Has anyone seen and understand the "Timeout" icon that shows up on the status of the tablet?

The icon is a Light bulb with 3 underscore dashes. Apparently, the icon lits after not using the tablet for a day or so even if there is lots of battery capability left. Once the icon is lit the 3 underscore dashes do lit sequentially every time we click on the icon, and that with no other apparent consequence for the operation of the tablet.

I sense that this icon is not part of the pre-loaded apps for the tablet as there is no information about it is the user manual.

Other than default resetting, has anyone else experienced this?
