aspire cz-107 how to install the free w10

hy all

yust purchased a aspire cz-107, the the sticker says i can instal for free windows 10. But i have no clue how.

a included leaflet tels me to go to" acer.com/windows now" bet that dus not help. it is on the list as upgradeble from here were do i proceed

Windows 10 was a free update until 29th of June but probably you can still get it:

first of all i would suggest you to create a recovery USB media to be able to revert to the factory OS, just start Acer erecovery and follow the instructions.

 

then you can create a windows 10 USB bootable media and choose to upgrade, launching the setup.exe on the USB bootable media.

you can click the update now or (better) download the media tool, plug an USB flash drive (8GB is good), once downloaded the tool, plug the USB flash drive and run the tool, following the onscreen instructions.

i was able to install W10 with a bootable usb. it took 4 hours.
