lost power supply, but not sure of model number to look for replacement

I have tried to enter the S/N from the sticker on the bottom of the system into Acer's website, but it always says not found.  The first 10 digits are W0I101304E.  I know this is not the usual N or L to start, but it is the only sticker on the bottom of the laptop.  The manufacture date appears to be November 2014 (date stamp on same sticker).  There is not even a power requirement label or anything on the bottom and I see no model number listed anywhere to help with searching for a replacement power supply.  Is this now a very large paperweight or can somebody help?

    Hello,

This string of characters is not the starting of the serial number. May be you'll be able to find it like this. Otherwise do you remember the model name?

I did not know the model, nor did I see that video anywhere.  Thank you for the link.  The serial number is where the video indicated it would be (on the edge of the tablet that is against the keyboard dock, so not visible when docked).  I was able to ensure I purchased a compatible charger from Amazon.  I almost never undock it, so I never would have thought to look there.  Again, thanks.

  • Hello,

You're welcome. Your Acer store may also sell you a replacement AC adapter too. It's another solution.
