Just started happening today - reinstalled Adobe Reader, but that didn't solve the problem. On an Adobe user forrum, somone with an Acer monitor said it was a new conflict with the Pivot software in Acer display management. He removed Pivot, and the problem went away. I don't want to do that if there's another solution.

What monitor model do you have? What is the SNID?

This is an older monitor for which we no longer service. Unfortunately due to the age of the monitor we won't have a fix for this issue. It would appear that you'll have to remove or disable the Pivot software for the monitor to view the files from Adobe.

I actually solved the problem a different way: I uninstalled the latest Adobe Reader, found an earlier version on Adobe's website, installed it, and the problem disappeared. If I need to uninstall the Pivot software in the future, which folder do I look for?
