Aspire v3-772G RAM not fitting in to slots 3 and 4

Hi, I just bought 2x 4gb PC3 12800 SODIMM RAM for my laptop knowing that only 2 of the 4 ram slots are used, but no matter how I position my new RAM sticks they do not fit in to the slots (3 and 4) that are above the already used slots. I've tried putting them in at a slight angle, straight on, etc. but they won't lock in and the metal arms are not lined up to the notches. Any ideas? Thanks.

    Hello,

I think you have to rotate the memory modules. I'm checking... Yes you do.

Could you give me the brand and part number of the new ones?

Fixed! I did have to rotate the SODIMMS to get them to fit. Thank you.
  • Sorry but I think you have bought the wrong memory modules. Your laptop only supports DDR3L 1.35V and not DDR3 1.5V.

I found them. I confirm these memory modules are not compatible: DDR3.
