Recently I had to start taking my battery out of my laptop because everytime I try to start it up it would freeze before the screen even came on, that evolved to just freezing up every time I tried.

I tried powering it on with just the power cord also with just the battery and then I tried with the battery and the power cord and it did nothing.

I reset it by removing the battery and the power cord and holding the power button for 1 minute. Which worked, but only for one boot up.

So I took it apart  piece by piece to see if anything was shorting it out. It would still freeze up after removing CD drive, hard drive, all memory except one, cooling fan and Bluetooth.

Now it now it will not boot up and the cooling fan will not turn on sometimes.

 my my laptop:

Acer Aspire V3-772g-9829

Memory: 12 GB RAM

CPU: I'm7-4702mq 2ghz

Video: Nvidia GT 740.

OS: Windows 8.1

All updated drivers.

Sorry you're having problems with your Acer laptop. At this point we would recommend repair for this issue. It could be a bad mainboard. We can offer repair if you like; please contact Acer from the info posted at: http://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/service-contact.

I have narrowed it down even more-
Take the mother board battery, laptop battery and power cord out,
then hold power for 1 minute to reset bios,
next put motherboard battery back in and power cord not (leave laptop battery out) it will automatically turn on and the fan runs at max and nothing else... you then pull the powercord out so it will shut off then plug it back in and it automatically turns on again and boots up properly.
Is it still bad motherboard or maybe the bios wich is v 1.15 I tried downgrading according to this site to 1.13 still the same.
