Is the Acer Switch Alpha 12 being discontinued? I've noticed that the various models are no longer listed on Amazon.ca or Bestbuy.ca except for the basic model with 128GB ssd and I3 and 4GB ram. When they were out of stock they would still show up on the sites when searching for them. Even the acer.ca site does not have stock of the other models.
FAQ & Answers
I wouldn't think so. THis is a brand new product just release this year and is still being promoted on the Acer site. At least in the US.
There is a new Switch Alpha 12S that is a 5-in-1. So maybe the older models are being phased out.
Do you have a link to the Switch Alpha 12S? I have not been able to find anything about it. Thanks.
Love my Switch Alpha 12!
Ah, I found it. It's not a replacement for the Aspire Switch Alpha 12. Also there is no 'Alpha' in it's name.
The Acer Aspire Switch 12 S is an older 'Intel Core M' processor 5 in 1 so it has a much less powerful processor. See https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/series/aspireswitch12 for more info.
Also, https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/models/laptops/aspireswitch12s has specs etc.
