Open the PC case and take off the ram modules.

put the second module in the first slot, then try to boot (with 1 ram module only)

    3 short beeps - pause - 3 short beeps

    is a ram issue.

You can try to unplug HDD, DVD, try ram modules on different slots and check if you are able to boot to BIOS.

Check CMOS battery voltage too, it is the silver round battery on your motherboard.

    Mister Ironfly,

I have a question about the beeps (all of them..) : are these beeeps enabled with a very little speaker (5 mm or so) into the case or onto the mobo?

In modern PC it's on the motherboard, not really a speaker but sort of chirper (i call it chirper but not sure of the technical name).
It looks like a littlle black cylinder with a top hole.
