Can I reinstall Windows XP Home from USB stick?

Currently I get a BSoD when trying to do this.  I assume it's a driver issue of some sort, but don't know what driver to load when it askes if you want to load any drivers before it starts trying to install.

I'm doing this on an Aspire One D150. It came with XP Home on it, so that's what I'll be reinstalling. (to clear it off to sell)

Is there a better way to do this. I haven't checked for any hidden partitions or anything that I might auto restore from. Does any one know if this model might have that and how to do that?

    Yes. You can.

I have done it with the help of WinSetupFromUSB tramsferring Win7 and WinXP from install-disks to a UFD.

    To patch up

Install XP in IDE mode of SATA drive or Win7 in AHCI mode.

    BSoD...

Is your hard drive Toshiba MK1652GSX ?

Are you trying to install XP in AHCI mode of the SATA drive?

Where did you download the drivers?

    Which driver did you use?
