V5-552 boots no device (not SATA or USB)

Until today the laptop was booting fine using legacy bios.

Today I wanted to boot a UEFI USB key, so I changed the bios option to UEFI boot (and disabled secure boot). The device did not boot. I changed back to legacy boot and now my SSD no longer boots either. The drive shows up in the "Information" tab of the bios but not in the boot order.

I connected the SSD to another computer and there it seems fine (did not try to boot from it though).

I've tried a variety of different USB drives with a variety of bootable images both in legacy and UEFI mode. None of them boot up, always "No bootable device found".

I've also tried disconnecting laptop battery from the mainboard while also removing the coin battery to clear the bios settings. None of that helped.

Anyone got any ideas? Thanks.
