Can not access my google drive using my Acer switch alpha 12 tablet

Hi,

 

I just got this new ACER Switch Alpha 12. I can access many web-sites but when I try to access drive.google.com the connection resets, but at the same time I can walk over to my HP mini notebook and access the google drive without a problem? Any idea why this happens?

Shouldn't that be https://drive.google.com? If you've been typing google.drive.com that shouldn't work.

No concrete ideas, maybe it's trying to access http: and not automatically switching to https:? What browser are you using?

Thanks for the reply. I use FireFox browser, though I think this problem might have something to do with the browser security settings because I can access the google drive from the menu tab within the gmail but if I open a fresh tab on the browser and try to enter the url googl.drive.com directly, then the connection resets. I will have to follow up with the FireFox people to see what I can do about the security settings.

You are right!! That works. Very strange, because on my HP mini I don't have to type the https://, it automatically augments the url with the right prepend such as http, https, or www.
